Buxiban.com has been collecting information about English language schools in Asia since 2001. The aim of the site is simply to compile and archive information about schools that can be utilized by the members of this site in their efforts to find teaching work and research the employers offering this work. The information on this site comes from a variety of sources including official government sources, discussion forums, and of course the personal experiences of the teachers who work in the schools listed on this site.
This site has no affiliations with any school or recuitment company which ensures our impartiality in regards to the companies listed on our site. It is important to us that users can get 'the real story' about schools and recruiters and not a censored or biased version. We are neither anti-school nor are we pro-teacher, we just present information so that the users of our site can make informed judgements. Teachers are welcome to post about their experiences with schools here to get the word out about good and not so good schools. Equally, schools are welcome to post testimonials from past and present foreign teachers here in order to enable potential recruits to better understand the school before signing up. We hope that schools come to recognize the value of this resource as much as most foreign teachers do.
This is a site for teachers and the schools that employ them. In order for this site to remain a valuable resource we rely upon the teachers who work in the schools listed on this site to help us keep the site up to date. Although the site is updated on a daily basis it is not improbable that some of the information contained here becomes incorrect or outdated over time. As such we always welcome input from the teachers who use this site.
All of the information contained within the Buxiban.com website is available to users free of charge with the exception of our directory of schools in Asia. School listings and the contact information for those schools is only available to members who subscribe to our site for access to this information. The subscription fee for one years access to our lists of schools is USD14.95 per country, or USD39.95 for full access to all countries. Subscription fees help us cover the costs and time in compiling this information and ensuring that it is kept up to date.
